    L’app di pagamento brasiliana PicPay lancia lo scambio di criptovalute con Paxos

    PicPay, un’applicazione di pagamento con sede in Brasile, ha annunciato che ora permetterà ai suoi utenti di acquistare, vendere e detenere criptovalute, nella sua prima incursione nel mercato delle criptovalute. Oggi PicPay lancia il suo servizio di scambio di criptovalute, che inizialmente supporta la negoziazione di Bitcoin ed Ethereum, oltre che di USDP.

    Lo scambio è gestito in collaborazione con Paxos, una società di infrastrutture blockchain regolamentata dal Dipartimento dei Servizi Finanziari di New York. Paxos gestirà la negoziazione e la custodia degli asset per PicPay. Paxos è anche l’emittente di USDP, una stablecoin in dollari regolamentata.

    Gradualmente, lo scambio sarà reso disponibile sull’applicazione PicPay, che conta più di 30 milioni di utenti attivi. Il trading partirà da 1 R$ e PicPay fornirà agli utenti anche dati e informazioni sul mercato delle criptovalute all’interno della piattaforma di scambio.

    Le prossime fasi

    Più avanti nel corso dell’anno, gli utenti potranno pagare con le criptovalute nell’app PicPay e saranno in grado di completare i trasferimenti di criptovalute. Oltre allo scambio di criptovalute, PicPay lancerà presto la propria stablecoin. Sarà sostenuta dal real brasiliano, con parità uno a uno, e consentirà alla stablecoin di PicPay di essere disponibile come metodo di pagamento, ovunque accetti le criptovalute.
